Thursday Portrait.....

I sold a Malibu to a lady that originally came from
Michigan's Upper Peninsula. As we were making small
talk, I mentioned that I just LOVED the Thimbleberry Jam
that the Monks made up in the Kewanaw Peninsula of the UP!
Later that afternoon as she arrived for delivery, SHE brought me in this
jar of unspeakable delight!!
This half-pint jar sells for 8 Bucks!!!!
It's worth EVERY PENNY.
It also reminds me of something....
But I just can't remember what.
Oh well...See ya Friday.

    Don't think i've ever tasted a thimbleberry, in jam or otherwise. Looks yummy, though.

    Hopefully see you for F55...gotta come up with one first, though. :)

    I've heard of that jam, but have never tasted it. Of course, I don't get to the U.P. very often, so the odds ain't good.

    (And, at $8 a jar, it would be quite a splurge for me; I wince at the $4 jams in Frankenmuth)

    I'm much more inclined to purchase other Monk-Made goodies, like beer!

    Speaking of Friday, I ran across an old 55 that I'd misplaced that fits the bill.
