Sunday 160.....

.

.
Naked, tired, preparing for the Winter onslaught
once again. Not really knowing if you have the strength
to endure until the Vernal Renewal. Survival isn't easy.

.
.
Monkey Man has a weekly writing exercise called
Sunday 160. Write a poem or story in exactly 160
characters, then post it on your blog. Then go tell him.

  15. Not only to survive the cold and starvation of winter, but to have enough left over to bud in the Spring! OTOH, you could be like the trees around here and put a little antifreeze in your veins and make your leaves into needles.

  20. LOVE your poetry, Galen. I can picture you as a little boy running across the field to that tree, already a poet, one with the wind and the world.
