The obsession grows daily.
The nights linger on..
Life has no meaning
Now that you're Gone.
There is no more laughter.
No More sweet love songs.
The silence is deafening!
Now that you're Gone.
There is no escape
It's hard to be strong
Where are the Good Times?
Now that you're Gone.
Every Winter you leave me
Each season is Painfully long
Lets move to Daytona...
Then YOU will NEVER be Gone.

ReplyDeleteWant ride.
Bundle up and ride. Great tribute to your roving habit.
ReplyDeleteA sonnet for your superfine machine... there truly ain't no sunshine when she's gone... or when the weather is too inclement to ride.
ReplyDeleteAwww...
ReplyDeleteBut she will be back with you and the breeze in the spring.
sorry you have to pack her up
Thanks for the One Shot
Moonie smiles
She sure is a beautiful...:-)
ReplyDeleteOh Dear sounds like you need to pack yourself up and ship yourself & your wheels off to Queensland Australia!!
ReplyDeleteWe are known as the sunshine state here & it's always warm enough to ride!!
But then again..there is that old saying... you know the one!! It goes like this : "Absence makes the heart grow fonder"
Those months in between rides must makes those months of re-acquaintance all the more enjoyable.
Great One Shot!
Where did SHE go???
ReplyDeleteI guess she is with Reese now...(???)
They do make warm, heavy coats, you know. You're tough enough to ride her in the winter.:)
ReplyDeleteAlready longing for spring and the freedom and love of the road!
ReplyDeleteMine is here. http://razzamadazzle.wordpress.com/2010/11/09/bully/
The hardest season of all for those who love the open road...my brother (who bikes) is falling into his autumn/winter funk as I type this.

ReplyDeletesigh....it is a sad thing when it's too cold to ride...
ReplyDeletePoor bike, all alone for the winter. You'll have to go visit her. Then again, Daytona doesn't sound like a bad idea.
ReplyDeleteNow, that is a true love poem. Perhaps you could find something new to have in common.
ReplyDeleteIs this why you said life sucks?
