Friday Flash 55.....

.

.

Split, Fried, in a Pudding or Cake
Raw, Dried, in a Bread or Baked
Yellow, Green, sometimes Red
Eat them for Breakfast, or a Snack before bed
Phallic in shape, some are Long, some Shorty
Slightly Radioactive....Isotope Potassium-40
And remember they are grown, near the Equator
So never keep them...In the Refrigerator
.

.
If you or anyone you know has written a Friday Flash 55
Please come tell The G-Man!
I will visit, read, enjoy, comment....Then BOOK!!
So from the slipperiest host from coast to coast...
Have a Kick Ass Week-End!!

  25. I almost bought some bananas earlier this week, until I saw that they were 47 cents a pound.
Ironically, I had no problem paying a dollar a pound for apples, or $1.29 for a cheeseburger that cost only a dollar last year.
Obviously my life makes no sense.

    Thanks for another Friday 55!
    Mine's here. :)

  30. *******
    I dream:
    I dream of death
    and ways to go
    I dream of headless body’s
    and missing toes
    I dream of corpses
    rotting away
    I dream of all this
    night and day
    I dream of all this
    and after something grand
I dream but all I’ll get
    is fire and burning sand
    Yes I dream

  44. First time participating, although I've admired many times.

Our parakeet LOVES bananas. When my son pulls the peel back and leaves it hanging inside out, she flies over and delicately mooches off the inside of the skin -- something he can't get to anyway!
