The lovely Susan over at Stoney River, has a writing challenge called Micro-Fiction Monday. Each week she posts a picture, and you supply the caption in 140 charactors or less! It's fun, and you can find her ...Here!
OMG I love the call letters. Is their sponsor Kentucky Burbon? LOL Weathermen are like car sales men OOPS!!! Present company excluded. LOL Great story my friend. Happy Monday. Yathzee!!!!
ReplyDeleteYahtzee is even better...ROFLMAO!!!

ReplyDeleteLOL! I love the call letters, too! What a terrific take for the day! I tend to think that weathermen ARE fiction writers!!! Have a great Labor Day!

Very authentic sounding with the call letters.

LOL. They always get the weather wrong, don't they?! What a brilliant take on the picture.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely storm-free week x
Well our weathermen are on a winning streak at the moment! They've just said "rain" for the past 4 weeks (and a little more) and they're 100% correct!
ReplyDeleteBut usually their predictions are great acts in the guessing game competition!
Fun microfiction!
Knew I should have brought the board instead of the canoe. Surfs UP!
ReplyDeleteWhat did one of my Passengers on my Bus say once about weather forecasters. "It is the only job where you can lie and not be fired".
ReplyDeleteNIce take on the photo Our Susan supplied.
Excellent, G-Man!
ReplyDeletedang weather guys!! can't they ever git it right? clever, man!
ReplyDeletethey pull their guesses right outta their rear ends!
ReplyDeleteThey only have 4 weather icons, right? Sunny, Rainy, Snowy or Maybe. :)

It's all about the 10%.
ReplyDelete;-)
ReplyDeleteYeah - those weekend weather crews are the worst...they just tell you stuff that they make up because they know they won't be out there dealing with it! HA!
ReplyDeleteWell done!
Hi, Galen! Funny, and too true. There used to be a weatherman in Boston whose forecast was extremely accurate. I always knew to bring an umbrella whenever this guy predicted sun, and vice versa. Could never figure out how he kept his job.
ReplyDeleteManaged to grab a couple of minutes Internet time on my holidays. We've had a couple of weather forecasts like that this week. Great 10!
ReplyDeleteSo the Internet isn't THAT good. I meant to say great 140.....
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday
He'd be better off just looking out the window.
