Friday Flash 55.....

'ASS-HOLE'! 'POT-LICKER'! 'IDIOTIC JERK'!!
Daydreaming Dildo, a real 'Piece of Work'.
Pull right out in front of me, as though you didn't care.
And if I brake and honk my horn, I get that angry glare!
****************BIKERS REMEMBER****************
MEN...Drive like they own the road.
WOMEN...Drive like there's no one else on it!

Maybe a bit of a generalization, but close enough.
The Bikes are out...Always look TWICE!
If you or anyone you know has written a Friday Flash 55,
Please come tell The G-Man.
I will visit, read, enjoy, comment...Then BOOK!
So from the Two-Wheeled host from coast to coast...
Have a Kick Ass Week-End!!

  5. Oh wow. I was gonna post for Ti but I see she Yahtzeed me. I see how it is. Well she brought dinner in three courses...

Then Sandy's picking up the drinks and I'm providing the mystery dinner theater that I hope everybody will think about participating in next week and beyond.

    Ya'll enjoy now, ya heah?

  6. Pot-licker? I've never heard that one before. I always look out for bikes, my Dad rides a bicycle in his spare time.

    Mine's Up.

  7. Yeah, I have a few myself, but never pot-licker, I AM a pot-licker in the wilderness.

    Mine is up HERE

  8. Great one, G-man, and it rhymes too! (Beyond my ability...) And a good message and reminder.

  9. Great public service statement G-Man.

I cannot begin to count the close calls I have had with those who refuse to see while they drive.

    best wishes!

  16. You're so right. I think many folks are driving around in those little automat compartments from which their ancestors once bought sandwiches and chips. Crazy. Some serious vocab. lessons go on behind the wheel.

Mine's about a conversation that I had with a gas station host, shall we say. Brews the best tea and coffee in town. It is possibly here.

  17. Just today I watched some goombah on a motorcycle riding only on the back wheel in a pretty congested area. There are bad drivers for every sort of vehicle, who are thoughtless about the safety of others.

  18. Yeah...? But I bet he wasn't texting!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yikes!
Well, a couple days ago here in Michigan (just about 20 miles from where I live, even!), there was a road rage incident where someone actually got in a fight and STABBED somebody. Something about getting out of their car and fighting in the ditch.
    (!!!) Wow.

It helped me see the need to be a wee bit more mellow when I drive.

Thanks for another Friday 55. :)
    Here's mine!

  20. Excellent stuff....

I'm up - and I'm also out of here to see friends at the beach! Have a great day.

  21. A very timely -- and timeless -- 55. You just be careful out there and be on the lookout for the roadhogs and the morons.:)

    ReplyDelete
  22. I am amazed at the non-driving that goes on around here. Dangerous stuff. I often find myself telling people to drive OR pull over and talk or text or eat or do makeup or whatever. (Actually I'm swearing it with my windows up.)

    My 55 is up.

  23. Drive defensively. Rule number one--and every other rule! And good advice, Galen--watch the bikes.

Did you get my previous message on your last post? I already got my 55er up. I was the FIRST to let you know this time--even if it WAS on the last post rather than this one.

    Ah, well. D

  24. Yup, bikes are out. Use your lights, guys. Great 55, G-Man.
I have mine up too (getting a head start cause tomorrow is gonna be crazy!) I think I'll start from the bottom to comment and work my way up.....

  25. Thanks for the warning! It's another reminder of why neither of my boys will EVER be allowed to own a bike. Stay safe out there, G-Man!

  26. With all the wackos on the road, it's a challenge, but stay safe!

  40. Take the baffles out of the mufflers and carry a piece for the equal distribution of flat tires.

It ain't no safer in a damn car around here anymore...slow the hell down people and I know we have a literacy problem but S T O P isn't that big of a word and is found on those big red signs on every street corner when entering a major thoroughfare.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I remember riding and never seeming to be seen by cars pulling out of intersections! Frustrating!

Mine will be up before sundown.

  53. G-Man -Wednesday night I took the third step toward independence and bought MY first car. Watch out. The roads just got scarier. LOL

    I’m up right HERE

  54. Good one, Galen!

I always thought that to qualify for a car license everyone should *first* get a motorcycle license and a commercial truck license, and find out how it feels to drive each of those in traffic, before becoming a dickhead-behind-a-wheel. I get laughed at, when I mention it. Oh well!

I'm late again (homelife is a bit rough at the minute...) but up at last, with a story about toys.

    Happy Easter!

    ReplyDelete
  55. g--ok the first thing I want to say is that I am a very good driver..second, mr jackson has got his bike out and agrees with you-third, I didn't see your post until I went to link to it and finally, I was only going to talk about my bad drive (eg computer), not about a bad driver until about 4:30 pm --go figure--beam me up scotty and oh yeah, my post is up!
