Clunker Frenzy......








Hi Everybody...
What a week! After putting in 67 hours this week, I'm just gonna kick back today. You wanna know what kind of deals are bringing people in the store in DROVES?
See that top pic? Thats an HHR. It has a 4 cylinder engine thats very peppy, has loads of cargo space, seats 5, is very well equipped, and has a sticker price of 23,000 Bucks. One of my old college professors Tom Coffey, travelled almost 250 from Michigan's U.P. to see me for this deal.
With his GM Family discount, and all of the GM incentives...The Cash For Clunkers 4500.00 Govt. rebate put this sporty little ride at an even 12,000 bucks difference!
See the last 4 pics? Thats about a 200 Dolla ride that he got 4500 bucks for!
Is it any wonder that the Feds pissed though 950 MILLION bucks in 6 days?
I'm resting here today...I figure 3 more days of long hours...Then come Thursday I'm GONE!!!! This time for real!
I'm making Beer Butt Pesto Chicken today, with Crab Filled Pepper Poppers.
I may show how they turned out tomorrow...

    Seems like every government deal passe me by, but not the tax bill for it! I've never owned a POS auto, and bought a new mini-van 2yrs. ago... not my turn- again..
