Tired Tuesday.....





Hi Everybody...

My office was like a revolving door today.
From 8:30 am to 8:00 pm, I talked to 8 different customers.
"Cash for Clunkers" is bringing in folks, but very few vehicles qualify!
I finally sold customer #8.
I'm sorry I've been remiss in my commenting duties, but you'll be my age someday...

    I have known for many years what a clunker is, but what is the deal, "cash for clunkers?"

    1994 Honda civic DX with 280k on the odometer doesn't qualify does it?

    No one round here wants to get rid of the old boxy hoopdies. Just put 22" rims on them and $5k window rattling stereos in 'em.

    I grew up when a "clunker" was still drivable! I drove cars down to the auto auction held once a week in G.R. when I worked at the Buick dealership while in school...

    what does it take to get 4500 for an old car, i have one. you are such a lucky man to have the life you have and it is not your age that matters, it is how your living and you are living well my friend. we should all be so lucky.

    I kind of resemble the dog tired pic lol. My van qualifies for cash for clunkers but not sure I want to part with it. Still has a lot of spunk left in it.

    Steve..A clunker has to insured and registered for the previous year. Under 25 years old, and average UNDER 18MPG combined city and hwy. And after it's traded in, it has to be destroyed and that has to be documented!
