Wassup Boomer?........
Hi Everybody...
First of all I would like to thank all the folks that helped make last Fridays Flash 55, the best turn-out to date.!! What really makes it special is that there were probably 10-15 people that have contributed in the past, that were too busy to think about it..You All Rock!!!
Remember my daughter Mandy? She is getting married on Saturday June 19th. The nice young man she is marrying, has parents with a vacation cottage on the beautiful Northern Michigan Fife Lake. Our friend and Mandy's God-Mother Lynne, is an 'ordained' internet minister that can legally marry people. She and Sean are getting married on the dock about sunset, and she wanted a Pyro-Tecnics display to cap things off...
Well.....hehehehehe, Thats right up mine and my Pyro son Reese's alley. So today Reese and myself took a little road trip to Toledo Ohio to my FAVORITE store in the world...Phantom Fireworks!!!
Last week they sent me a catalogue with 2 unbelievable 'Early Bird' coupons inside. So to make a long story short...The last pic is about $1250.00 Dollars worth of Rockets, Morters, and Grand Finale displays, that actually only cost me $359.00 out of pocket...YAY!!!!!
Nobody...But NOBODY, Out-Booms The G-Man...Whether it be at home, OR in the pristine North!!...Have a Great Week.
Peace...!!!
To get an idea of the magnitude of all of those fireworks...See the two round rolls of firecrackers that say Wolf-Pack? They are Four THOUSAND full-size Firecracker Rolls!!!
ReplyDeleteThat square display between them is a 16 shot Grand Finale' barrage that alone cost 89 Bucks!!!
God I love it........
You are a maniac, G-man..have you notified the local fire department. Just in case!!
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to take pictures for us!
ReplyDeletecongrats to your daughter. will be seeing pics later? i, too, am an online ordained minister. haven't married anyone yet. any volunteers? lol
ReplyDeleteJust be careful with all those rockets, mortars, and other assorted pyrotechnics. You wouldn't want the nuptial dock to fall down, go boom.:-)
ReplyDeletejust don't set yourself or anyone else on fire, ok? that might take the shine off the day.
ReplyDeletebut congrats to mandy and i hope it's a wonderful day for you.
The kids and I used to do fireworks a lot, but now we live in too woodsy an area.
ReplyDeletecongratulations! just don't set the bride alight, heee heee heee
ReplyDeleteIs this the father of the brides way of paying for the wedding? Fire away on pops.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Mandy and Sean!! How exciting! And what a beautiful way to end a wedding. I LOVE fireworks. You got those for a steal too!

G-man- Not to brag, but I've been known to have had some pretty hard-to-get items- not from a store!
ReplyDeleteDon't let the display go on too long- we know the laws in Michigan- don't we?
ReplyDeleteOh man! What a swell wedding this is gonna be!
ReplyDeleteI never knew you were such a pyrotech!
Looks like its gonna be fun!
You must all be so excited - I love weddings!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your firework display will be light up the sky :)
What a lovely place to have a wedding! Congrats to bride & groom...All you need is some good bug spray and have someone video tape those fireworks, so then you can post it and we can share in all the pyro fun!! :D
ReplyDeleteThis wedding is certainly something I would like to to see photos of.
ReplyDeleteFireworks by the G-Man and son!
Congratulations to your and your family. Have a great time in June...wait that's midsummer!! Stay safe Galen. :))
Seeing those fireworks just makes me that much more excited for June 19th.
ReplyDeleteLuckily no one up there minds the fireworks AND there's no local police. It should be one hell of a day.
Come on over to North Korea and launch some with me!
