Friday Flash 55....

"A package.....For me?"
Rachel giggled as the Madame handed her a small box with a card attached.
Christmas of 1888 in Paris, was a lonely one for the young prostitute.
The card read ,"Keep it and Treasure it"....Vincent!
She opened the box, gasped, then smiled....
"What a sweet, odd little man"...she mused.
.
If you or anyone you know has written a Flash 55, come tell me!
I will visit, read, enjoy, comment, then BOOK!!!
Have a great week-end everyone...
.
Peace...!!

  1. Odd present, indeed! Young Rachel's shock apparently passed fairly quickly, though. And she probably cashed in on her "prize" later.:) Terrific topic for a 55, G.

  4. I don't think I could be so cavalier about receiving that "gift". Odd is right.

  14. I like it Galen. We have a very tasty hoagie/sub/sandwich (which ever you prefer to call it) around here that displays nothing but Vincent Van Gogh and we love to eat in there and look at all of the paintings.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  22. Vincent was a strange man. maybe not the prostitute profited from the gift but hopefully it would have put her entire progeny through school. Good thoughtful read.

Donnetta said to visit here. Ok here I is G-man. Been doing these 55's just for grins on my page. Home is a few miles from you in the D.

    Peace
