Friday 55.....

Nikola Tesla, whose name ranks with Edison and Marconi as one of the greats in the history of electricity. Studied birds in the local woods, and then jumped from the roof of the family barn clutching an umbrella...convinced he could fly!
This line of research was abandoned after he spent six weeks in traction!!

.
Hi everybody, It just goes to show that no matter how smart you are, you can still do stupid shit!
I hope you all have a wonderful and productive week-end!!
If you or someone you know has written a Flash 55, please let me know, I will read, enjoy, comment, and leave!!!
Peace...!!!

  8. I read somewhere shannigans were pulled to give Tesla the shaft on a patent, or something like that- which resulted in him not getting the fame or fortune he might have had...

  10. Tesla.

    I think I've seen them.

    Yeah, I did.

With Motley Crue, Joe Satriani, Bonham, and Johnny Crash at Alpine Valley at a metal festival. Around 1990, maybe.

    GREAT show.

    We took my little brother.

He was, like, 11 at the time.

He ditched us to go and hang-out with the guys from Sweet Cybil.

    At 11.

They filmed the vid for 'Same Old Situation' at that show, the Crue.

And now Tommy Lee is on a reality show with Ludacris.

    I like Luda.

    Tomorrow is Saturday.

But, today is Friday and my 55 is now up.

    Just for you, Gayland.

Cos you always ask so nicely.

    =P

  11. You just don't hear of many people like that these days. It is kind of like dyeing out. Then again it sounds like Tesla came close too. Nice 55 G. I am up, better late then never.

  12. Yeah like when my dad took our slide off the ladder half then built a big ramp from the ladder half and we climbed to the top of ladder then put on skis and ski down the ramp half? It was fun to a point but man if you fell off the top it was a long way down and your ribs hurt for like a week or better! lol Good one hun thanks HUGS have a good weekend.

  16. Isn't Tesla the real inventor behind Edison? Isn't Tesla a rock band from Iceland or something? Isn't stupid is as stupid does? Don't you love comments that are all questions?

  18. Yep, you can have an incredible IQ and be incredibly stupid!

I wrote a Flash 55 on the post prior to the piece I wrote about my mom. If you get a chance, come on over and read it. It's called "Hues." I may do another. Fun.
