Easter was always a wonderful Holiday at our house growing up.
You could over indulge in whatever you gave up for Lent.
Over indulge in a fantastic Easter dinner.
And......The Candy!!!!!!
But, if you were bad, you got potatoes in your hat!
I've had this Easter Basket since I was three....

Oh Gman that is just so sweet that you have your Easter basket from childhood. We used to get new ones every year because we kept them and used them to carry toys, kittens, and other important stuff around in.

ReplyDeleteNot many people mention Lent anymore but we still do Lent. I am so proud of all three of my kids because each one of them gave their favorite food/drink up for Lent and actually stuck to it this year.
