In my humble opinion, anything that is anyway connected with one of the Gabor sisters is bound to be a hit.
ReplyDeleteI realize that not all famous pigs are tied to the Gabors, but your introductory post is outstanding.
I think you should limit this though to celebrity hogs. Maybe ... Hmmmm ... I don't know ...Hot Shot Hogs Monday, Personality Pig Monday? Mulish Monday is more catchy, but there just aren't that many famous mules.

You might be on to something Galen, though it will take a creative mind to come up with new pig trivia every single beastly week.

ReplyDeleteAnything swine like, and I'm there! You know, I used to clean hog barns for years. I've also farrowed many piglet litters (my personal ones included, heh!). I won't get into details about clipping teeth and tails.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, none of the pigs I've ever know were famous, unless you count the 2500 pound boar that sired 3000 litters.

Well, there's always bacon, pork chops, and ham. For the "off" days, you could do recipes. hehe. Bring it on, G, I'm sure you have lots of trivia stored away. You could give us things like the smallest varieties of porcine pets, the world's largest Swine, and you could amaze those who don't know about the curlies that pigs have. There's the medical replacement parts issues, too.
