Back in 2005, right before July 4th. I had surgery. My doctor gave me vicodin and 6 weeks off. The Saturday after my surgery, I was outside at 2 a.m. watering the grass. The next weekend I painted my greatroom on Saturday, and Squirrel's great room on Sunday. After I painted, I went out and bought new living room furniture. That's when I realized I love vicodin.

ReplyDelete1. Pipe. Preferrably, my one-hitter. But...I've been on Pothead Hiatus for three months and counting. THIS Perpetually High Motherfucker has only gotten high like twice in the past three months and I haven't bought a stash in all that time. Prior to that I would take a hit about seven times a day. Not a whole bowl...just one hit out of my hitter at various points throughout the day. I used to take like 2-week long breaks from time to time to clear my system, and that is what this one started out as...but somehow...I just have needed to refrain for longer this time around. But, I got high with my brother the other day and man...it was SOOOOOOO fucking nice cos the last time I took a hit was just one tiny one the Monday after Thanksgiving at a friend's dinner party. A little more information than asked for, I know... but this is a big deal for me right now, cos I don't even know how this break thing happened, but it did. And I don't know when I'll start back up again. And I don't know if I want to. I mean, I want to, but I don't know if I WANT to. Yeah.

I know there are these really happy painkillers that my ex-boyfriend used to give me that have aspirin, codiene and caffiene in them and they FUCKING ROCKED. But, after we broke-up I rationed out what I had left from him and never inquired as to where I could get more cos they are NOT GOOD FOR YOU. And habit-forming. As he probably had a little habit with them himself. I think he would get them from Canada. They are the shit. But, yeah...I'm an Advil Girl all the way.
3. Absolut Ruby Red and grapefruit when I am out and about. At home...wine. Wine. And more wine. With dinner...more wine. At friend's ...wine.
4. NOT a beer drinker. But, when I was high the other day my brother gave me this dark beer and I drank the whole thing. It was actually good. I like cider. I guess I would have to pick a bottle...cos it's more fun to play with...but draft has head. And that's fun too.
5. I know longer do shots of tequila or jager due to past bad vomit-inducing experiences. I learn from my mistakes. How about a lemon drop? I'm a vodka girl through and through.
6. You just are NOT giving me very good choices! Chardonnay??? MERLOT???? Fuck both! How about Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc? Or Zinfandel and Reisling? Or ...champagne!
7. My friends and I go to restaurants and bars and if it's a restaurant that doesn't have it's liquor license, it is definitely a BYOB here in the city. So, we'll come prepared. I go to coffee shops when I'm spendin' some quality Strumpet alone time. Love coffee shops. Indies and Starbucks.
