The Reason Why........."Friday 55"

The beauty of riding a motorcycle on a sunny afternoon in the countryside, is that you don't ride through the countryside, you are part of it! The sights, the sounds, the smells....Especially the smells! Cow shit.....Road kill.....Pig shit.....Tractor exhaust.....Horse shit.....Mowed grass.....Lilacs.
And the greatest smell of all.............Freedom!

  1. Oh, my God, I'm first? Do I get a prize?:)

Doesn't freedom smell great? I don't care what else is mixed in with it, the smell of freedom always overpowers everything else. Except maybe the road kill. Did you know there's some dingbat somewhere who's putting clothes on road kill and ... painting their toenails? Or would that be clawnails?

  28. Hey Galen, I know the last thing you probably need is another blog to visit but you might want to check out Biker Bettie at http://bikerbetty.blogspot.com/

She enjoys the ride, has links to a bunch of other people that enjoy the ride. I have not checked her out a lot other than the pictures for posts for the weekly photo hunt but I still get the impression you might enjoy.

    Have a wonderful weekend G-man.
