Sci Fi TV.............

If you can remember these...Then I don't feel so bad!.....

Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Superman!!
Yes it's Superman! Strange visitor from another planet, that came to earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men! Superman, who can change the course of mighty rivers,
bend steel in his bare hands, and who, disguised as Clark Kent, mild mannered reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper, Fights a never ending battle of Truth, Justice, and the American way!!

Space, the final frontier, These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise. It's five year mission: To explore strange new worlds: To seek out life and new civilizations; To boldly go where no man has gone before!

( This is the original opening, Not the one you may be used to. )
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, beyond science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of mans fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. This is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

There is nothing wrong with your television. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling the transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We will roll the image to make it flutter. We can change the focus to a soft blur, or sharpen it to crystal clarity. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. WE REPEAT: There is nothing wrong with your television set! You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experiance the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to.....The Outer Limits...

I can also recite the Green Lanterns Oath that he took when he recharged his Power Ring!!
But I think I'll spare you that today......Mr. Knowitall....Hahahahaha... Peace!

  2. NOTICE!!!!
i read a thing on Signgurls blog about her having a gall bladder issue...i had a weird lisa idea
that it wouldnt hurt anyone to try the following...lets just call it a
    creative visualization exercise...
if everyone takes a moment or 2 or 5, and would kindly just focus their thoughts on Jenn, and on clearing up the area of obstruction, just imagine it as
being clean and clear of any problems whatsoever, visualize her as having this problem leave her body, it will help to send that energy out to her body...it wont hurt, it can only help, especially if many people do it as often as they can in the next day or so. so if anyone feels inclined to assist, and to see how potent our thoughts can be, please join in and put your healing energy to Jenn, to Signgurl, and help clear up her pain and discomfort by visualizing this gall bladder problem as completely healed, with many positive thoughts sent to her only...you can use some wonderful tools to enhance this exercise, such as imagining light, white, pink, or gold, in the area of obstruction, or all throughout and around her body, or imagining water or water infused with light in it, to shower throughout the area to cleanse it, and "wash" the obstructions away, or any other creative thoughts you can imagine to help assist her body in healing this. i'll do the same from here, and let's see if we can give her a nice boost to help clear this up....i may post this in several places...thank you all for your kind thoughts to Signgurl Jenn...! xo

  3. You know what one of the greatest names in TV was?
It was on one of my alltime favorite Comedy shows, and they were Canadian! SCTV..
One of the great John Candy's character's name was...Johnny LaRue

  4. JJ, That was a very heartfelt act of kindness that you've given to the Lovely Jenn!
She certainly deserves to be pain free. I'm afraid she's going to have surgery, but maybe we can help ease her pain!...

But once when I was on vacation at Universal Studios in Orlando, we took what was called the backstage tour. And one of the houses that we saw, was the house where The Golden Girls was Taped!!

    I love this interaction!!

  11. G-man, suspend all negative comments, such as "sorry" she's having surgery...instead of using the word sorry, just envision a healthy unobstructed Jenn... just try this experiment and suspend negative thoughts during it all..try it...just try it! just take a few minutes and focus your healing energy on Jenn.
    we'll theorize later...
go for it....i already sent my first dose from here...its shifting her energy...just believe in it, and it will help....

  20. Sign, you are welcome,
    it is not just words,
    the power of intention
    is very potent in healing
of any kind, and the power
    of our thoughts is mostly
    what creates our world...
    i just thought it would
    be cool to see
    if a bunch of people
    focused their energy
    with healing thoughts,
    if perhaps we could shift
    something to help your
    body heal itself....
    some times even our own
    thoughts are what causes
    blockages in our own bodies
so it would also be incredibly
    beneficial right now, even if
you are feeling a bit upset,
    to see yourself as clear
    and healed, no matter what
    the problems are, just
fake it and use your imagination.
you will be amazed at the results.
    thinking of you, Jenn,
    and continuing to send you
    healing energy from here!
    xo lisa

  21. Because it takes Diff'rent Strokes that move the world. Yes, it does...

I am going to take another approach to the Signgurl Pain-Relief JuJu Party.

I am going to focus all my Feel Better Vibes on ANOTHER part of Ms. Sign's anatomy.

For Strumpet believes that a woman experiencing Feel Better Vibes in her nether regions is a woman that shall feel positively radiant enough to overcome gallbladder pain and any and all symptoms related to said gallbladder pain.

Ms. Sign, be prepared to feel a little tingle.

You may want to be sitting down for this.

And Mr. Sign may wanna watch.

    Feel better, Jenn.

P.S. I choding LOVED the Golden Girls, dude.

I used to sing that G-girl theme song...BOY, did I used to sing that song. I think that song is AWESOME.

Rue McClanahan was sex-AH and Betty White played Chrissy Snow (in twenty years) to a fucking tee.

    Todd Bridges is hot.

    Stay golden, y'all...stay golden...

  22. It's a beautiful thing when so much love and concern is floating around my little Jungle here...
All of you women are so careing and kind...
I'm sure Jenn is feeling the love...in her love muffin!

I'm going into work for a while ...on my day off!
    So as always...Carry On!!

  23. ahhhh g-man, you sure brought back some memories.
You left out the Lone Ranger who was my hero. I used to jump up on the back of a chair when the theme came on pretending it was a horse.

I want to see the movie about the death of George Reeves the original Tv Superman.

    Lone Ranger joke:
The Lone Ranger and Tonto are surrounded by hostile Indians, the Lone Ranger turns to Tonto and says "it looks we're at the end of the road Tonto" Tonto turns to LR and says "what you mean we kimbosabe?" arr arr arr
    ok...it's funnier in person!

    goes a lonnnnnng way.
    Strumpie is cooler
    than she knows...

  25. JuJu...that was a jazz tune
    written by Wayne Shorter
on an album of the same name.
its a cool, primitive sounding tune.
and i dont know what JuJu means
so now i'm gonna google her up.
and its not just healing pain,
    Strumpeter, its healing the
    cause of the pain...for
    long lasting relief!
ya, i'd even fire up the old
    vibrator for this one...good
    thinking, Strumpie!!

  26. man, ya gotta love Google:

Juju is an object superstitiously believed to embody magical powers.

Juju, in West Africa, refers to the supernatural power ascribed to an object or fetish. Juju can be used perjoratively and can be synonymous with witchcraft. American voodoo may originate from the beliefs surrounding juju, such as the manipulation of good and bad spirits. Also, some West Africans who convert to Christianity or Islam refer to aspects of traditional African religions as juju.

The phrase is used in several John le Carre novels - notably Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

Juju is also a term used to refer to energy: "Good juju" is good energy, "bad juju" is bad energy. This popular meaning has found its way to television. The ABC series Grey's Anatomy uses the term in the episode "Superstition", as does the CBS series The Unit, in its 2006 episode, "The Kill Zone".

  27. Galen said:"JJ, New Orleans is the Jazz capital of the world. If he can excel there, he is truly great!!"

the school he is auditioning for moved from La La land to New Orleans...it would be like striking musical gold for him to be accepted here....as a mommy, it settles
my tummy down to hear you say
    only positive things about this
city, and i thank you for your support and enthusiasm....he's my baby, i just want him to be safe...if he gets accepted after tomorrow's audition, he will be the happiest teen in the Universe...this institute is also only made up of 6 or 7 kids, like where he is now, and there is room for only one trumpeter IF they even decide they need one in whatever configuration of kids turn up...chemistry has much to do with the mix, and most decidedly musicality and i believe, sensitivity as well...we'll see what the Universe has in store for this part of the journey...i am actually praying at this point...he's a really gifted horn player and a beautiful naturally musical soul...xo

  28. LOL, i am younger than javajazz and i remember all of those except greenhornet, though i know who greenhornet is, just can't recite the oath. hehehehe, i think i am an old soul....with a playful heart...i am a contradiction, lol

    ReplyDelete
  29. I SO remember all of those! YIKES...

Cazzie...I know that one. Greatest American Hero. My grandmother loved that one.

I agree with JJ on that one...think positive g-man. Positive energies go a long long way. My positive is purple and I find ways to incorporate in my days one way or another. Amethysts are my favorite stone because of their healing capabilities.

    ciao baby!

    BTW...Lisa has a hang over...lol!

  31. Lime, i was actually joking about not knowing the themes to Superman, Star Trek, Twilight Zone (yes, i think i even remember the original opening),
and the Outer Limits....(i actually dont think i know the Green Hornet thingy tho)...also, almost everyone is younger than Javajazz, except of course, the Daddy of the Blogworld,
    Galen Super G-man...(and TC!) (shhh!)
ha! and yes, Lime, you are an old soul, but a smart and fun one!

  32. Amethyst is a favourite stone in healing, isnt it...not surprising it brings you comfort, Jillie...me, i collect crystals if i like the colour or the shape or look of them...i'm very childlike in my approach to spirituality...then i look them up in my super duper crystal book to see what they are and why i was attracted to them...its almost as if we knew what we needed before we knew what we needed....
i like colours all together like yellow, orange, pink, blue-green, clear quartz, purple, so this finds me stuff like citrine, carnelian, rose quartz, chryssacola, and turquoise and malachite, amethyst...and sometimes if i need a certain boost, i'll grab one on my way out from my stash, and stick it in my pocket to keep me company for the day or if i go on a trip and need calming etc...

  34. Ok, I'm not sure if it was Java Jazz's energy, or Strumpet focusing on my girl parts, but Mr. Sign gave me a big distraction today. It might help too that I'm riding the Vicoden train.

Thank you all for your concern and positive thoughts.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Glad to know my juju was of service.

    Woot!

Vicodin and big distractions go together like peanutbutter and chocolate, yo.

Bet that was a splendid time.

    Mr. Cat,

Hollywoodland is most excellent. I rented it when it first came out on DVD and brought it with me to Florida for my mom and I to watch. She really liked it too.

Oh yeah sorry Sci Fi TV, oh jeez all of them!
Ironically the post appeared on the day the third series of the (new) Doctor Who debuted on British TV, never really taken off over there from what I understand?
I'm sure there's a reason for that! It has grown men hiding behind the sofa and weekly arguments as to who was or is the best Doctor!

    Jillies issue...no matter, as long
    as it clears up something!
plus, i think we have a Trekker on board....
i hope everyone is continuing to send healing energy, creative visualization stuff to Jenn...the more the merrier....keep doing it, even if its just a quick thought or why not take 3 or 5 minutes and do it...heck, maybe she'll get schtupped again! whatever,
